My Bio
I’ve been married for nearly two decades and every year is better than the last. Mark and I were married the year before he graduated from medical school. I worked full-time and took care of the house while my husband finished medical school.
After medical school came residency and then private practice. I eventually quit work to stay home and raise my children, while Mark worked on putting more letters after his name. I’ve never been one to do things half way, so I took on my new role as a my next career.
When my husband became a full-time hospital administrator, I realized there were times when he needed someone to have his back. The more I did to help my husband be successful… the more fulfilled we both were and the closer we grew together. I evolved into a “wingspouse” and partnered with my husband to take on the challenges as a team.
Now that he is a healthcare advisor, my role has changed slightly, though I’m starting to realize a wingspouse™ approach is an advantage in any career. I’m currently working on a book about my evolution, but for now I am offering some of my insight through this website, through individual counseling, and group seminars. I want to share the lessons I’ve learned over the years, and the nice little tips and tricks that came in handy. Keep checking back to my site for new tips, topics that may be useful, and fun interviews with other “wingspouses.” If you’re interested in having me present to a group or just want to work with me one on one, please contact me.
I redefine the executive wife and blow the traditional role out the water! Learn more about this wingspouse™ role by listening to Lee Rosen’s interview with me and don’t forget to check out my blog regularly for topics to guide you to master a wingspouse™ lifestyle.
