It shouldn’t take a special holiday to remind us to show our spouses some love, but it frequently DOES! In our pursuit of career success, we often put our family relationships on a back burner. We assume a certain amount of loyalty, without regard to what we give in return. But do we deserve such loyalty?

This year is almost over, and soon we will all kick off the new year with the laborious process of completing our tax returns. I am frustrated that filing taxes is so complicated, I have to pay someone else to do it. Even worse, I hate how our politicians divide our country into the haves and have nots. People who have invested time and money into education and hard work should not be penalized, and people who choose not to go to college or climb the corporate ladder should have the right to do so.
